What time do most restaurants switch from lunch to dinner? Have ADRs at 4:30ish since we are a very large group (18 people). BOG, Chefs de France, Tutto, Crystal Palace, Mama Melrose. Thanks for the info.

Hi, Carrie!  The switch from lunch to dinner varies by restaurant, but by 4:30-ish, you will definitely be in the dinner time frame.

Buffet restaurants, such as the Crystal Palace, usually begin switching the buffet items to dinner beginning at 2:45.  Mama Melrose begins dinner at 3:30.  You'll find a little bit of a later start at Chefs de France, with the dinner menu kicking in at 4:30.

I think this is a great time with a big party to enjoy dinner.  You have a better chance of being seated in the same area, and you may even find that while everyone else is enjoying dinner at a more traditional time - say between 5 and 6 - some of the lines are a bit shorter.

I hope you have a wonderful vacation.  I love going with friends and family - the bigger the group the bigger the fun!
