What time do you release reservations times for 60 days in advance? We’re going Dec 4-11 and I’ve tried everyday for an Ohana & Chef Mickey’s reservation. I’d prefer dinner but there hasn’t been a single open reservation time. What’s the time to check?

    Hi Casey,

Ooh...you're visiting during my favorite time of year! The holiday festivities will be in full swing, and the entire Resort will be decked out in beautiful decor, but it's still a few weeks before one of the most popular times of the year to visit, so the crowds won't be too heavy. You're going to have a BLAST!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble finding dining reservations! They usually open up each day by 6:00 AM Eastern time, and some open as early as 5:45 AM. The thing that could be making it tricky, though, is that Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can make dining reservations for the entire length of their stay (up to 10 days) at their 60-day point, so that can make it harder to find openings at the most popular locations 60 days out. Please don't give up, though! Guests' plans change all the time, especially the day or two beforehand as they are trying to avoid a cancellation fee, and it's certainly possible that something opens up. Just keep checking, and I'm sending pixie dust that you'll find the perfect dining reservations for your visit!

Do keep in mind, too, that a walk-up list is available within the My Disney Experience mobile app. I'm not sure how many Guests are in your party, but I can see that there's currently a 10-minute wait for a walk-up table at Chef Mickey's and a 50-minute wait at 'Ohana for a party of four. Of course, openings change constantly, and there's no guarantee that there will be availability during your visit, but I hope that gives you some hope!

Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney, Casey, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit. I hope you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation this holiday season!
