What time do the photopass photographers start taking pictures? We plan to make reservations at a few character breakfasts before the parks open and I was wondering if they would be available to take pictures of us in the parks beforehand? Thanks!

    Hi, Julie!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

PhotoPass photographers are available to start taking pictures at park opening time, but not typically beforehand. However, the nice thing about having reservations at an in-park restaurant for an early character breakfast is the opportunity to take photos in a nearly deserted park before the crowds arrive. In Magic Kingdom you can get some incredible shots of Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle (often with no other guests in the background!). The same holds true for the other three parks where you'll be able to take awesome photos of the park icons (Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life, Sorcerer Mickey's Hat) during the very quiet and peaceful park pre-opening time.

You may also consider asking another guest heading to an early breakfast if he or she would mind taking a photo of your family with your camera. I have often found fellow guests to be very accommodating when I've asked them to take a photo for us. And of course I always return the favor!

Wishing you a magical vacation, Julie! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions as you plan your trip to The Happiest Place on Earth!
