What time is the parade at Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. We have reservations at Tomorrowland Dessert at 8:40 for firework viewing but don't want to miss the parade.

    Hi, Judy!

It sounds like you have a magical night of celebration planned at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade runs twice during the evening, at 8:15 PM and again at 10:30 PM. The Parade lasts about 25 minutes. You won't be able to see very much of the Parade from the Tomorrowland Terrace, so you'll want to secure a spot along the upper part of Main Street (closer to Cinderella Castle) to watch the Parade. This viewing location will put you close to the Tomorrowland Terrace for the Dessert Party.

My best advice is to enjoy the first Parade at 8:15. This will give you time to find a good viewing spot in advance and, once the Parade has passed by, you can walk right over to the Tomorrowland Terrace. Don't worry if you arrive at 8:45 or 8:50. Your seating for the Dessert Party is guaranteed and your table will be held for you with a place card on it. An advantage to catching the earlier Parade is that you will still have 2 solid hours to enjoy the Christmas Party after Holiday Wishes -- the waits to meet your favorite Disney Characters will typically be shorter later in the evening and it's also a great time to watch the stage shows.

You could certainly try catching the 10:30 Parade, if you prefer. The Holiday Wishes fireworks show lights up the sky beginning at 9:30 PM and lasts about 15 minutes. To find a good parade viewing spot, you would need to exit the Dessert Party immediately following Holiday Wishes and walk over to the Central Hub or Main Street. The challenge is that this entire area will be extremely crowded and it will be slow going.

Have fun celebrating the holiday season with Mickey and his band of marching toy soldiers, dancing reindeer and gingerbread men!
