    What time will the opening ceremony at the gate of Magic Kingdom begin if there is extra magic hours from 8-9am and general admission begins at 9am? We are not staying at a Disney resort and really want to see the opening ceremony at the gate!

    Hi Gina,

    If there is Extra Magic Hours, the opening ceremony will take place at the Magic Kingdom at 8:00 am as this is when the first guests will be entering the park.

    If it is important to see the opening ceremony, then you will need to change your schedule to visit the parks on a day when there are no early morning Extra Magic Hours. Or you could watch the opening and then grab breakfast at one of the resorts near the Magic Kingdom. Ohana at the Polynesian is a delicious place to have breakfast. I love the pineapple bread.
