What time in the morning does the online reservation window open for a DVC member to make reservations for a resort that is not there home resort? I know it’s 7 months out but I would like to know the time of day.

    Welcome Home, Hans!

I love a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member with a plan! I am a firm believer that being prepared and booking as soon as possible gives you the best possible chance of getting the room you want. If you are hoping to book a resort other than your Home Resort, I recommend having a first and second choice in mind. Also, be willing to be flexible with things such as the view. Sometimes views with lower point cost will be harder to secure, because who doesn’t like a good value on a room?

You can book resorts other than your Home Resort, 7 months before check-in at 8 AM Eastern Time. If you are in Washington State, this would be 5 AM Pacific Time. So set that alarm (and maybe the coffee maker) early, Hans! When you have that perfect Disney Vacation Club trip planned out, you want to be wide awake and ready to go. For our most recent trip, I actually pulled my car off the road and into a parking lot after my night shift so I would be ready at the appointed time! Luck was in my favor and I snagged the room I was hoping for.

Hans, I recommend you go ahead and sign into the site a few minutes before 5 AM Pacific, so you are prepped and ready to go. Go to the “Book a Vacation” page, enter the number in your travel party, your travel dates, and select the resorts you are interested in. Once the clock ticks over to that magic time, go ahead and hit the “Check Availability” button!

I hope this helps with your planning, Hans. Sending you pixie dust for that perfect Disney Vacation Club stay!

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
