Welcome aboard, Charles! Disney Cruise Line offers so many different itineraries for guests, and it sounds like you've found the perfect one for your family! The night before you leave, you'll have the option to send your checked luggage ahead of you so you don't have to haul it off the ship yourself. If so, you'll need to have it packed and tagged with the provided tags by around 10:00 p.m. Keep a day bag with you for use the next day. You'll also be notified of your assigned breakfast dining time. Normally, breakfast times are not assigned, but they are on that last morning, in order to ensure that all guests can dine with their dining service team before heading off the ship.
Guests who have enjoyed the Main Dining at dinner will be assigned a breakfast that last morning of 6:45 a.m. Those who have dined during the second dinner seating will be assigned an 8:00 a.m. breakfast for the last morning. You'll dine in the same restaurant where you had dinner the night prior, and of course the same dining servers who have rotated with your family through all the dinner services will be with you at breakfast, so it's a nice chance to say a final farewell to them. Cabanas buffet will also be open to pop into for a quick breakfast on your own time. Then, once the ship is cleared around 7:30 or so, an announcement will be made that guests who are carrying all of their own luggage off can disembark first, followed by any other guests. All guests must be off the ship by 9:00 a.m., and asked to be out of their staterooms by 8:00 a.m. You'll want to plan about 45 minutes to get off the ship and through baggage pick up and customs. Disney suggests that guests book flights at 11:30 or later if they are using
Disney's Ground Transfers, to ensure ample time to travel to and make your way through the airport.
I hope that helps as you get ready to set sail, Charles!
