Hi! What time on may 31st do 2024 booking open?

Hiya, Tyler, and welcome back to planDisney! Waiting for 2024 bookings to open makes me imagine I hear the crocodile ticking louder and louder as he nears Captain Hook! We've all been waiting for this moment, and it's almost here. Securing some magical vacation time at Walt Disney World Resort next year is high on my list, too, so let's see what information we have so far. Here we goooo!

Tyler, I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said the only information that's been announced is the date when bookings will open: May 31. Regarding a specific time, he said the assumption is that guests can start calling into Disney Resort Hotel Reservations starting at 7:00 AM EST. Still, he said specific times had yet to be announced for online booking.

Since guests will be booking vacations spread out over many dates, the rush to book should be less than when booking a sought-after dining reservation. But I'm a planner, too, so I understand wanting to be among the first to secure a trip. So I suggest you hop on your My Disney Experience account around 6:00 AM on May 31 since that's when the dining window typically opens. But calling in at 7:00 AM would allow you to sleep in a bit!

The Cast Member added that Vacation Packages should be available to book for dates in 2024, in addition to reserving Disney Resort Hotel reservations and Theme Park Tickets separately. So you'll have some flexibility in making those plans to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

I'm sprinkling pixie dust all around so you can book the trip of your dreams, Tyler. Please stop by planDisney anytime! Tick tock, tick tock!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
