Hi Diter!
Welcome to planDisney! The
Keys to the Kingdom tour is such an incredible experience. You’ll love every second of it!
The theme park parking lots usually open about 1 hour before the
listed Early Entry time. So, depending on how early your Keys to the Kingdom tour is, your best bet will be to get to the parking lot right when it opens.
It’s good to note that parking for
Magic Kingdom is at the Transportation and Ticket Center. After you park your car, you will go through security there, then hop on the Monorail or Ferry to get to the park entrance. My family once did a race to see which mode of transportation would be quicker, and the
Monorail riders won by quite a bit!
Magic Kingdom tends to open its gates to all guests about 30-45 minutes before the listed Early Entry time. So, by the time you park your car and get to the park, you’ll likely be about ready to scan in.
When I went on the Keys to the Kingdom tour, I had booked the very first time of the day, which was before the listed Early Entry time. I mentioned the tour to the Cast Members at the gate, and they assured me that I would be there on time by entering the park along with the other guests. But you can always confirm that with them when you arrive.
The check-in area for the tour is at Town Square Theater, which is right at the front of the park. So after you enter, you won’t have much of a walk to get there.
I hope that helps! Have the best time! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, feel free to come back and visit us.
