Hello there, Marc!
It sounds like we have at least one magical thing in common, as I just
love watching fireworks over Cinderella Castle at the end of a day in Magic Kingdom Park. Whether you're watching front and center on Main Street, U.S.A., or from another spot in the park there's just something so special about seeing those colorful bursts in sync with the music. I tear up almost every time!
I took a quick look at the
hours & events calendar and see that
Disney Enchantment is scheduled to begin at 8:15 pm on both January 23 and January 24. The show is approx 15 min long and may even include a special guest appearance by a certain pixie-dusted friend. I'd suggest hanging out near the
Partners Statue on Main Street for the best view of the castle projections, but you're sure to be enchanted no matter where you decide to watch.
Keep in mind that the performance schedule is dependent on weather, and may be subject to delay or cancellation.
I'm not sure if you're aware but there are a few options available if you'd like to enjoy the fireworks from a reserved viewing area. You can choose to enjoy dessert and beverage selections (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) during the
Magic Kingdom 50th Fireworks Dessert Parties: Disney Enchantment Pre-Party before the spectacular begins, or you can watch the show first and then cap your night off with drinks and desserts at the
Disney Enchantment After-Party. I took a quick look and see that both party options show availability for the dates you mentioned, depending on the size of your party. Keep in mind that advanced reservations are required and there is an additional charge for these
Enchanting Extras.
I hope you have an extra special visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Feel free to stop by and
ask me any more vacation planning questions you may have.
Faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Amy
