Hello, Carmela!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
It seems like you're an expert yourself! Your kids are very fortunate to have such a seasoned guide leading the path to adventure!
I think you're going to love the Walt Disney World Resort in December. I visited
Disney's Wilderness Lodge in late November last year, and that Christmas tree is outstanding. It's the perfect place to end a day, in my opinion.
You can choose to dine at the lively
Whispering Canyon Cafe or go for the whimsical atmosphere of the
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. My parents fell in love with Artist Point the last time we were there!
In my opinion, you're already staying at the coolest and more beautifully themed rooms within the Value Resort category.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is also in an excellent position because it now gives you access to the extraordinary
Disney Skyliner.
These rooms have not been renovated recently, like the rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort, though. If you wish to stay in a place that has a very cool Table Bed, for example, maybe moving to
Disney's Pop Century Resort can be an option! The awesome Disney Skyliner also serves it, and both hotels are so close that you can even visit Disney's Art of Animation Resort for a meal or an evening stroll if you'd like to.
If you want to experience a different type of room, though, you can also choose to modify your reservation to stay at a Moderate Resort. Options like
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside can be perfect if your family is into theming like mine. The
Pirate Rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are super cool for young pirates!
The
Royal Guest Rooms at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside are also outstanding, and perfect for visitors who want to feel like royalty!
I hope that your December trip is
very merry, Carmela. After all,
it's the most wonderful time of the yEAR!
If more questions pop up before you're ready to board the sleigh, please, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's always a pleasure to help!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
