    what time does illuminations start and where is the best place to view

    Hi!

    Most nights, Illuminations is performed at 9pm. Be sure to grab a times guide when you arrive at Walt Disney World to confirm the times of the different fireworks performances and parades.

    Now, on to the hard part of your question! Great views of Illuminations can be had from all around the World Showcase. I've watched them from Mexico, Germany, Italy, and England - all were a little different, but all great. My husband highly recommends Germany, since he can easily grab a beer and a soft pretzel from the nearby snack stand!

    One great tip that a fellow Moms Panelist passed along is to check the wind direction. If possible, chose a spot that will let you avoid having the wind (and perhaps smoke from the fireworks) from blowing into your location. You'll get the clearest view that way!
