Hi there, Julie, and welcome to planDisney.
Julie, I have a joke for you. What do Prince Naveen, when he's a frog, and the White Rabbit have in common? They both love park hopping just like you!
Soon you'll be
chilling with a snowman, sailing with pirates,
flying through Pandora, and visiting a galaxy far, far away. And with a theme park ticket that includes the
Park Hopper Option, you'll be able to hop at your leisure!
Let's hop straight to your question, Julie, because you have bags to pack and plans to make. If you have a date-based ticket, you can hop to a second park at any time. If you have a ticket that requires a theme park reservation, you will need to scan into that park first. Then, you'll be free to visit a second, third, or even fourth park at any time.
One other thing to keep in mind as you plan your park-hopping day is that
complimentary bus transportation typically doesn't start running between parks until around 10 a.m. If you plan to visit a different park before that time, you may need to make an alternative transportation plan. Be sure to check the signage at your park for that day's up-to-date transportation schedule. I hope this helps answer your question.
The fall and spooky season is such a wonderful time to visit, and you'll be in town to try some of Walt Disney World's Halloween-inspired treats! I'll actually be visiting a few weeks after you. I'm excited to try the Vampire Stitch Cake, and my pumpkin spice-loving heart can't wait to order the Mickey Pumpkin Soft-Serve. YUM! The Disney Parks Blog recently released an article featuring all the Halloween-themed food, which I'll share with you
HERE so you can find your favorites.
Julie, I'm so happy you stopped by, and please visit us again. Also, be sure to follow us on
Instagram for even more helpful tips. I'm wishing on a star that you'll have the most magical vacation!
Happy hopping!
