Hey, Patricia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for designing a great question for us!
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the place you want to head to for an artistic adventure. Guests are welcome to stop by daily for a complimentary lesson in drawing a Disney-related theme of the day. The last time I visited the resort, we were able to draw Tweedledee and Tweedledum! These classes are held in the lobby area each day at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. You will find a small room within the lobby where a Cast Member will teach you some cool tricks for drawing magical friends. If you are unable to readily locate the room, just ask the nearest Cast Member and they'll help you draw a straight line to the room. If you are not staying at the resort, no worries, as all guests are welcome to enjoy this class!
While at the resort, feel free to pop over to the Ink & Paint Shop, where you will find the most colorful accessories, clothes, and souvenirs to remember your visit. I personally love the paintbrush style ink pen and pick up a couple each time I am there. I love how it looks like I'm painting while writing with it.
I hope you have plans to visit this resort again soon because there are some exciting changes coming this fall! The
Disney Skyliner will be making its inaugural flight this fall, connecting Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort. This new transportation option will even be able to help you reach dining options at Resort hotels outside Epcot's International Gateway and the BoardWalk area.
Thanks for stopping by and let us know if you have more questions!
