1st time on DCL-Dream - June 27! I've heard my little pirate (3) can bring something on board for the characters to sign. What can we bring? Who all will sign it? He LOVES Mickey & Friends but has just discovered Pan & Hook. Can he meet Hook?

Welcome aboard, Amanda! It's almost time for your family to set sail on the Dream! You must be so excited! I'm sure you're going to make some really wonderful memories on this trip!

Guests bring all sorts of things for the characters on the Dream to sign. Some of the most popular items, besides autograph books of course, are pillowcases (with fabric markers), large blank Vinylmation and photo mats. Guests can keep their item and have characters sign it throughout the week when they stop by Character Meet n' Greets, or to save time, Disney Cruise Line offers a wonderful perk. Guest Services is happy to take your item and have it signed by Mickey and his gang or the princesses or both sets of characters. Stop by Guest Services the first day of your sailing to leave your item. You will fill out a form indicating your name and stateroom and check the box of which characters you would like to sign. This item (up to two per stateroom) is delivered back to your stateroom before the last night of your cruise. How convenient is that?!?!

The last time I set sail on the Dream Peter Pan and Captain Hook were both aboard! Pirate Night on the Dream brings out all those buccaneers, so you'll surely see them that night for Meet n' Greets and pictures! Since they are not on the checklist of characters that Guest Services will have sign your items, if your son wants their signatures, grab an autograph book or skip the Guest Services autograph service and just bring your item to each character on your own. You might like to turn in your item for the signatures that they will do, and have an autograph book (available on the ship) just for all those other fun characters you run into around the ship! Needless to say, there is no lack of Disney characters to meet on the Dream!

    Have a wonderful cruise, Amanda!
