Advanced dining reservations for most restaurants
open online or in your mobile app at 6:00 AM EST, which is 5:00 AM CST. If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can book dining for the length of your stay (for up to 10 days) 60 days before your arrival. Make sure your resort reservation is linked to your account so you can take advantage of that booking perk. Guests staying offsite can book meals one day at a time on a rolling basis.
Since food is my favorite topic (did I mention that already?), I like to start preparing the night before.
First, I make a list of the dates and places where I'll be during my stay. For example, if I plan to start my day at EPCOT and hop over to Magic Kingdom Park for the nighttime spectacular, I'll book a late dinner at Magic Kingdom that day. I might list my top three choices so that if my first option isn't available, I'll have backups ready.
Once I have my list of desired dining experiences organized, I set my alarm for 15 minutes before that window opens. I've found my mind is clearer if I've been awake for a few minutes, so I make a quick cup of coffee and get my laptop fired up. Don't forget your Mickey Mouse mug; mine always brings me luck.
My final piece of advice is to be ready to pivot. As Crush says, "Go with the flow," and be prepared to try a new restaurant or experience. Sometimes those unplanned options end up becoming must-dos. I avoided
Tony's Town Square Restaurant for years because it was always available; I assumed it couldn't be the best if it didn't book up. But I tried it once because it was my only option and I loved it! The
