Hey there, hi there, Jennifer!
Wow, you've just reminded me of a bunch of things you can do at
Walt Disney World that I think count as hidden gems. I've got silhouettes of each of my girls from when they were little, and they probably rank as my longest-lasting souvenirs.
Just a little word of warning - prices are always subject to change, and availability may vary, but
Magic Kingdom Park is full of these fun little extras, so let's jump in.
Silhouettes are priced per person at about $12 each. You'll get a spare for that amount, as they cut two at a time. The frame will be extra but is also a pretty great deal at another $10.
In
Liberty Square, portraits and caricatures are the same cost and depend on what you want to be done. Pricing for these begins at $25 per person, and with the portraits, whether you opt for a profile or front view will change that price. With the caricatures, the pricing is the same - with about a $15 difference between the profile or front view. Then, if you add extras to the caricature, the price will be a little higher.
The spirit photography at
Memento Mori was discontinued, and in the newly refurbished space, you'll find Host a Ghost jars. These were introduced in time for the
50th Anniversary Celebration, and it's cool to bring home your own hitchhiking ghost.
Merchant of Venus is currently closed, and the space is being reimagined! I'm so excited to see what's coming.
I hope this helps with your planning!
Anna
