Welcome Home Melissa,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Christmastime at Walt Disney World Resort is the absolute
most Wonderful Time of the yEAR! All of the
Resorts and Theme Parks are decked out in their holiday attire, and it makes the atmosphere Magical!
The times for the Christmas Service at
Disney's Contemporary Resort have not been announced yet, but based on the past few yEARs, I can make an educated guess! Traditionally, two Catholic masses are held early morning (~8:00 am) and mid-morning (~10:30 am). An additional Protestant service is usually in-between around 9:00 am.
Any of those services should leave you plenty of time for
a holiday stroll through the Resorts! A quick monorail trip away is Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and their
spectacular Gingerbread Display. It is so big you can walk in it, and it smells divine. Afterward, take a
Holiday Sleigh Ride at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The carriage ride takes you past the awesome campsite holiday decorations!
When you are ready to step away from the
Christmas cookies, end the day at
Disney Springs' Christmas Tree Trail. Last yEAR, the Haunted Mansion Tree (who knew a Halloween Christmas tree could be so fun!) and the Walt Disney World Theme Parks Icon Tree tied for my favorites!
Melissa, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. I wish you a Very Merry Christmas.
Rayna
