Hi there, Sheri!
Welcome back to planDisney. Your trip is fast approaching and I'm sure you're excited for the magic to begin! I think you'll feel just like Alice visiting Wonderland during your time at
Walt Disney World Resort, where imagination is welcomed and a magical adventure awaits guests of all ages. But don't worry, the Queen of Hearts won't be shouting "off with their heads" during your vacation.
If you've booked a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, check-in is at 3 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m. The exception would be if you are staying in a
Disney Deluxe Villa, where check-in time is at 4 p.m.
I'd recommend using Online Check-in via the
My Disney Experience App or online by hovering over the My Disney Experience tab on the website header and scrolling down to
"My Plans." By completing this in advance of your arrival, you can utilize
Direct-to-Room Service to bypass the front desk and head straight to your resort room. No need to stress about being early or late like our pal the White Rabbit, you'll receive an email or a push notification on your phone with your room assignment right on time once it's available. We love using this feature on our visits so we can immediately drop our bags, unpack, and get started on the fun. If you'll be arriving before your room is ready sometime in the golden afternoon,
Bell Services will be able to hold your luggage while you explore the resort, head to the parks, or even stop for an unbirthday tea party.
When your vacation comes to an end you can
check out via the My Disney Experience App, or if you're like me and forget while enjoying those last magical hours, you'll be automatically checked out at 11 a.m. You are free to continue using resort amenities like the pool on your check-out day and will be able to charge purchases to your room as well. We like to reserve a
Character Dining breakfast on our departure day to extend the magic before we travel home.
Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is a personal favorite, and
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is a quintessential Walt Disney World Resort dining experience. You'll be able to
begin making dining reservations 60 days in advance of your arrival.
Sheri, please feel free to come back with any additional questions as you prepare for your upcoming trip. Unlike Wonderland, we're not mad here at planDisney and always happy to help.
Painting the roses red until then,
Amy
