Hello, Donna! Welcome to planDisney.
It looks like it won't be long till you are sailing away and enjoying one spectacular vacation at sea. Your Disney Cruise is just around the corner! While it's no fun to think of the end of your sailing, it is wise to prepare for it. I'd be happy to help.
If you've booked a Disney Cruise Line
ground transfer from the port to the airport, you can expect buses to begin leaving the port as soon as they can be filled with guests. The ship is usually cleared for disembarkation between 7 and 7:30 a.m. If you choose to walk off the ship with your luggage (
Express Walk-Off), you may exit the ship as soon as an announcement is made that you are clear to do so. Guests will leave the ship, go through the customs line, and board buses heading to the airport. Once the bus is filled, it will leave immediately. Buses are continuously loaded and departing for the airport generally between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. It's a good idea to keep in mind that these times are estimates, so plan with some flexibility in mind.
I hope you are feeling shipshape and ready to sail! While onboard, don't forget about the
onboard offer that is only available for booking while you are on the ship. Using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app during your sailing, you can book a placeholder to secure a future cruise at a discount. I take advantage of this onboard offer every time I sail because it's fully refundable if you change your plans or aren't able to use it within two years, and most itineraries and stateroom categories are included. Having that placeholder booked makes the ride to the airport a bit easier!
Have a wonderful sailing, Donna! Please cruise our way again sometime to planDisney. My pals and I will be happy to see you.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
