    Tara from ON Asked

How does the "express walk off" work on a DCL when we arrive back at Port Canaveral? What time would they let us off? We would like to book our flight home for around noon if possible. Warm regards, from Canada!

    Greetings Tara!

So glad you stopped back by planDisney! Based on your dates, I SEA you'll be sailing on the Disney Fantasy. Your Eastern Caribbean itinerary is filled with fabulous destinations: Tortola, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay. Start the countdown calendar because your Disney cruise is only a few months away!

It’s not easy to jump to the last day of a cruise, but in this case, we have to because of your question! Express Walk-Off is available for those who need to be early birds and get off the ship early due to travel arrangements. Guests choosing to use the Express Walk-Off are advised to be ready to debark as early as 7:00 AM, and be listening for announcements as to when the ship has been cleared by local authorities.

Be mindful that if you do choose Express Walk-Off, you would have to take all your luggage with you and not leave it out for the crew the night before; they don’t offer luggage assistance as part of this process. You can read all about the Debarkation Day protocols and also learn about the Experience Updates for all aspects of your voyage.

As for your flight time, the ground transportation link has the earliest suggested times listed for your departure flight home on Debarkation Day. You would select “Sailing from Port Canaveral to The Bahamas or the Caribbean.” Under that tab, Disney Cruise Line will have recommendations about the earliest time you should schedule your flight. In your case, it currently suggests that you fly out no earlier than 11:25 A.M.

Wishing you a FANTAStic adventure at sea, Tara! Cruise back to planDisney if we can assist you in any way.

    Happy Sailing!
