Ahoy, Jessica!
Welcome aboard! A MAGICal voyage from
Miami sounds absolutely magnificent! It's one of my favorite departure ports because I always enjoy the stunning views of this city's skyline and sailing out to sea along beautiful Biscayne Bay. I remember having plenty of time to soak in this gorgeous scenery as my son took the plunge on the
AquaDunk over and over and over again! I think he counted almost 50 times on that particular sailing. He's always been a fan of Donald Duck's nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, so he was all over this thrill slide that they helped design. Do you have any adventurous sailors who want to give it a try when it's your turn on the
Disney Magic? I hope so!
Jessica, you've asked an important question about your transportation home. Disney Cruise Line does recommend flights out of the Miami International Airport be scheduled no earlier than noon, so a 12:30 p.m. flight should work perfectly. A flight around this time will give you plenty of time to enjoy your last breakfast onboard with your amazing dining team, take some final pictures of your crew on the ship and disembark without any rush. (I've realized over the yEARs that my crew needs time to gradually disembark because it's not always easy to leave!) And so you know, all Guests are asked to be out of their staterooms by 8:00 a.m. and off the ship around 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.
Thank you for sailing by to "sea" us, Jessica! The Disney Magic, with the wonderful ports of call you'll be visiting, will be an incredible vacation destination for your family. If you have any additional questions, please write back. We always love to help!
Have a MAGICal day!
Nancy
