Ahoy Kimberly!
Thanks for sailing over with your question for us today. I’m so excited to hear that your upcoming Disney Cruise Line voyage is just a few short weeks away, but I’m betting you’re even more excited to get the fun started.
If you are a first-time cruiser, your
Online Check-in window opens 30 days prior to embarkation, which already puts you within the check-in window. As you complete this process, you’ll need to
have the relevant citizenship documentation available, along with a credit card to set up the onboard account for the members of your stateroom.
Once you’ve completed the check-in process, you will be assigned a
Port Arrival Time, which will indicate when you should arrive at the port on embarkation day. Note that there may still be a bit of a wait to go through the remaining in-person check-in and security screening process before your boarding group is called and you are permitted to board the ship. My family sailed from Port Everglades late last year, and the entire process from dropping our luggage to stepping aboard the ship was quick and seamless. I'm hoping the same is true for you out on the West Coast!
Your 4-night voyage on
Disney Wonder looks pretty wonderful, if I do say so myself. While I haven't had a chance to sail on this ship just yet, I've heard great things about the vibe and menu at
Tiana's Place and have loved all our dinner experiences at
Animator's Palate on other Disney Cruise Line ships. You are sure to have a magical vacation from stem to stern.
Kimberly, if you need further assistance or additional recommendations ahead of your sail date, please come back to planDisney and let us know. We're always happy to help!
Bon voyage,
Amy
