Hi Mikyung!
I know you are getting excited about your upcoming cruise on the Disney Wonder! You will be setting sail on the beautiful waters of the Pacific very soon!
I have not been fortunate enough to sail the Mexican Riviera cruise yet, but here are my thoughts about Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta with a three and six year old.
When you arrive in Cabo San Lucas, you will be tendering over to the island. There is not a pier large enough for the Wonder to dock so smaller boats will come out to the ship to bring you over to the port. Even though I have tendered with young children, it is not as easy as just walking right off the boat so my recommendation would be to book your Port Adventure for Puerto Vallarta.
Arriving in Puerto Vallarta you will notice that the Disney Wonder will be able to dock right alongside the pier. This makes for a much easier disembarkation when you leave for your Port Adventure.
The Paradise Beach Adventure sounds perfect for your crew! Included in your visit to Paradise Beach will be a buffet lunch with drinks, lounge chair and umbrella for your enjoyment. The resort pool has two waterslides, and there is even a small zoo! By booking your Port Adventure with Disney, you will be able to relax knowing that everything is taken care of for you, and the ship will be waiting for you upon your return!
I hope this helps you plan a perfect day in the Mexican Riviera!
Nancy
