Hi Denise,
You will be staying in my favorite area in all of Walt Disney World Resort! I live for the energy of Disney's BoardWalk Entertainment, Shopping, and Dining District.
In the evenings, the BoardWalk transforms into an exciting night-spot for all ages. While the kid-friendly entertainment changes fairly often, in our recent visits we have seen a caricature artist, a hair braiding location, a basketball challenge, a magician, and a juggler.
You could also rent a Surrey Bike for two, four, or six people for a fun way to check out the sights. If you would prefer to explore on a more traditional bicycle, those are available on a limited basis from Ferris W. Eahlers Community Hall. By the way, a visit to the nearest Community Hall is always a must-do for my young daughters on every Walt Disney World Resort vacation. As a bonus, it is an excellent place to create inexpensive keepsakes and a perfect rainy-day location.
If BoardWalk Bakery hasn't quite satiated your sweet tooth, you might want to check out the nightly BoardWalk Campfire for some toasty marshmallows.
Need a relaxing evening under the beautiful Florida sky? Head to the BoardWalk Village Green for a nightly Movies Under the Stars experience. You can find the schedule in your Welcome Packet when you check-in.
For the gamers in your family, stop by Side Show Games, the arcade located conveniently near the Luna Park Pool.
Come back and visit us, Denise!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
