Ahoy Kirstine Michelle!
I am happy to see you sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. I am excited to continue to help you get ready for your upcoming high seas adventure!
There are only two things I dislike about sailing with Captain Mickey. First, having to leave the ship. Debarkation day is unbearable! Second, packing my suitcases to leave the ship! I feel like as I'm packing I resemble Sadness from Inside Out moping slowly around our stateroom.
But do not fear! You have until 10:00 PM on the night before debarkation to put your luggage outside of your stateroom for pick up. If the clock runs out and your luggage turns into a pumpkin before it can escape your stateroom, you are able to carry off your own luggage in the morning.
I typically like to pack up our luggage as the rest of the family is getting ready for
dinner and the
evening's show the night before debarkation. This way they are busy while I get things squared away to set out in the hallway after we return for the evening. Be sure to leave out of your luggage any necessary medication, toiletry items, an outfit for debarkation day as well as a small bag to take the last of your treasures with you.
If you are headed to the airport after your sailing, inquire about the
Onboard Airline Check-In services offered to get your boarding passes printed and your luggage taken to the airport for you. This service is magical delivering your bags to your final destination without you lifting a finger!
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as you finalize your vacation plans.
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
