What time should we arrive for a 9 AM keys to the kingdom tour?

    Hi Victoria!

    Welcome back to planDisney!

I was lucky enough to do the Keys to the Kingdom Tour on my birthday last year, and WOW! It was such a fun experience…you’ll love it!

You’ll want to get to Town Square Theater to check in by 8:45 AM for a 9:00 AM tour. That way, you’ll have time to place your lunch order and get your listening device before the tour begins.

Since Town Square Theater is right up at the front of the park, you probably won’t need to get there super early. I’d plan to arrive at the park around 8:15 AM. That gives you plenty of time to go through security, scan in, and grab some photos before needing to be there for check-in.

According to the Hours & Events Calendar, Early Entry begins at 8:30 AM at Magic Kingdom most days this week, but oftentimes, the park will allow all Guests to enter about 30-45 minutes before the listed Early Entry time. So, if you get to the park around 8:15 AM, the big crowds waiting for Early Entry will have likely already entered the park. Hopefully, that makes entry even quicker for you!

Depending on your mode of transportation to the park, I recommend leaving your resort room about 45-60 minutes prior to when you’d like to enter the park (especially if you’re driving or taking bus transportation).

I hope that helps! Have the best time on your trip!
