How much time should we allow to travel from one of the parks to Disney Springs? This will be in mid-November. Thank you!

    Welcome Back, Darlene!

It's always great to visit with our pals here at planDisney. Thank you for trusting us to help you make your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans. It is an honor.

I like your style! It looks to me like you are going to make the most of every magical moment at Walt Disney World Resort. How do I know this? Not everyone can enjoy a theme park and a visit to Disney Springs on the same day! Be sure to pack your most comfortable sneakers and your blister-resistant socks. (Body Glide is a bonus. I highly recommend it for any unpleasant rubbing in the heat. When you know, you know!)

With that in mind, let's break down your anticipated travel time:

It's important to keep in mind, Darlene, that there is no direct transportation between Disney theme parks and Disney Springs. You will need to make a quick stop at a Disney Resort hotel first and then transfer to another Disney Bus bound for your ultimate destination. Also, always factor in the possibility of the unpleasant sight of the bus you wanted departing just before you arrive. In that case, expect to wait about 20- minutes for the next one. This impacts your overall travel time quite a bit.

From Magic Kingdom Park: Either walk 10 - 15 minutes along the sidewalk to Disney's Contemporary Resort and find the bus stop just before the doors to the lobby or board the Disney Monorail Resort Loop and ride one stop to this iconic Resort hotel. Then, use the escalator to reach the fourth floor followed by the elevator to the ground level. Walk out the doors and turn right for the bus stop. Then, board a bus to Disney Springs.

Expected approximate travel time: 30 - 60 Minutes.

From Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - This is where you can have a little fun! Board a bus to any Disney Springs area Resort hotel, such as Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or French Quarter. Once there, have a seat and wait for a bus bound for Disney Springs. You will be on your way in no time.

Expected approximate Travel Time: 45 - 75 Minutes.

Finally, Darlene, if you would like to reduce your travel time dramatically, consider using a Rideshare service such as Disney Minnie Van by Lyft. This direct option will have you at your destination quickly and easily, but there is a cost to this method.

I hope that was helpful, Friend! Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your exciting Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Adventure is out there,

    Sally
