Hi Larry!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
I love talking about dining experiences at the Walt Disney World® Resort! And
Storybook Dining at Artist Pointe with Snow White is such a fun experience. My girls and I visited on a girls' trip one year and absolutely loved it. You are in luck.
Disney's Contemporary Resort is close to
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I would suggest that you use
Walt Disney World® Water Transportation. Even though it's not far and should not take long to get there, I would actually allow yourself at least 45 minutes. If you arrive to Disney's Wilderness Lodge early, you will have a few minutes to just enjoy the resort. It is an absolutely beautiful resort!
Allowing at least 45 minutes also gives you time to make other transportation plans if the water transportation is not in service. You could use the
Disney Minnie Van™ Service Connected by Lyft or use a standard Lyft or Uber. When you arrive, have your camera ready! The characters are adorable and the interactions fun. My girls loved striking several poses with each character and the food was good.
As you continue making plans, I do hope you have or plan to secure
advanced dining reservations. If you have not already done so, check your
advanced dining reservation window and make a note on your calendar if that dining reservation window is not yet open. One of my girls is my assistant trip planner (although she could do it all by herself actually) and she always gets up with me at 5:45 a.m. on the day our dining reservation window opens to get ready to make those reservations.
Larry, I hope this helps! It looks like you are doing a great job planning ahead. Please do drop back by if you have more questions! And, if you have not considered
Memory Maker, take a look. My family always uses Memory Maker to have access to all of our digital photos from the trip.
Magic and memories,
Donyell
