Hiya, Aubrie, and welcome to planDisney! You'll be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort this spring, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate being in the magic than with character hugs. Let's check out some ways to dine with your favorites.
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I like how you think, Aubrie! Character dining is very popular with guests, so these meals tend to be booked quickly. It looks like your dining window just opened, so I'm crossing my fingers that you can reserve a meal.
I see several options for breakfast with characters on March 29, so let me tell you how I searched. On your
My Disney Experience mobile app, tap the blue plus sign at the bottom of your screen. Choose "Check Dining Availability" and select your party size, date, and preferred time of day. I chose "Before noon," and a list of restaurants populated the next screen.
At this point, tap the blue "Filters" icon near the top left. You can choose a specific location, and under Table Service, select "Character Dining." The next restaurant list should include all locations with available times to book character breakfasts.
I see
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT has several open times to dine with farmer Mickey and pals. At Magic Kingdom Park,
The Crystal Palace also has availability to eat with Winnie the Pooh characters. If you'd like to play around with Donald in his safari gear,
Tusker House Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park currently has openings, too. Remember that character appearances are subject to change, but the experience will always be magical.
I suggest you give it another try as soon as possible to have the best selection. If none of these options work, my tip is to keep checking. Guests change their plans often, and I've had good luck snagging reservations a few days before I arrive.
Aubrie, I'm wishing on a star that you can secure some one-on-one character time...and a stack of Mickey-shaped waffles! Please
stop by planDisney again.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
