Hello! What time are the afternoon parades at animal kingdom and magic kingdom? And can we bring our own wagons instead of a stroller?

Hi Olivia!  I'm so glad you came to planDisney with your questions.  I'll be happy to assist you.

Although there are not currently any parades at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you'll be able to spot some of your favorite Disney friends as they cruise along Discovery River.  Several different flotillas can be seen throughout the day.  Some great places to catch them are the bridges over Discovery River and also along the walkway connecting Pandora-The World of Avatar to Africa.  Expert tip: Get on the waitlist for Nomad Lounge by checking at the host stand or trying the walk-up list feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app.  Many outdoor tables have a great view of Discovery River, so you'll be able to enjoy delicious beverages and light bites as you wave to your favorite Disney characters.

Over at Magic Kingdom Park, we have great news that the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will be returning in 2022!  While there is not currently an exact date for when this amazing parade will return, several different Magic Kingdom Calvalcades, including Mickey's Celebration Cavalcade are performed several times daily.  A new Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is also coming in 2022.  I actually prefer these mini-parades, as I am able to catch them multiple times throughout the day.  You'll find times listed for cavalcades in the My Disney Experience app by selecting "Today's Showtimes" from the home screen.

Guests are welcome to bring their own strollers, as long as they are within the dimension guidelines of 31” wide and 52” (132cm) long or smaller.  Single and double strollers are also available to rent in the theme parks and at Disney Springs.  The rental strollers are most suitable for children who are old enough to sit up on their own.  Wagons, including "stroller wagons", are not permitted in the theme parks.

Olivia, please feel free to stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have.  We are always happy to help!
