Hi Marcie,
One of my family's favorite ways to spend a non-theme park Disney day has always been to enjoy the complimentary (and fun!)
transportation options to visit several of the various Disney Resort hotels. They each have their own incredible theming and we're always blown away at the attention to detail. We love feeling like we've been transported to the
Pacific Northwest, an
African savanna, the
carefree Caribbean, or
dozens of other magical settings.
While always subject to change, the Disney Resort hotels do have some limited accessibility during the
phased reopening. If you're staying off property, you'll need to have a valid dining reservation to be able to access one, but if you're staying in the magic with
Disney Resorts Collection, you will be entitled to hop around a bit and enjoy the shopping and dining at all of the various Resort hotels. During my family's last visit, we stayed at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, but were able to use the mobile ordering feature to enjoy one of my favorite Disney breakfasts, Tonga Toast, at
Capt. Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort as well as a fantastic lunch at
Primo Piatto at Disney's Riviera Resort. Mmm...My mouth is watering just
thinking about the unique blend of flavors on their Grilled Chicken Sandwich! Whether you're able to explore the various Resort hotels during this visit or you're saving that experience for another time, you'll be able to utilize the convenient
mobile ordering feature throughout all of the theme parks.
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, Marcie, and please come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're preparing for your trip. I hope you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
