    What is the Tier System

Hi there, Jimmy. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to swing by with your question for us.

There are seasonal offerings and different events occurring throughout the year, making each visit to the Disneyland Resort unique. Some days, namely weekends and holidays, are busier and more popular than others. As you select 1-Day tickets, you will likely notice the price differences between the days. Each day is assigned a tier, and they range from Tier 0 to Tier 6. Tier 0 is the lowest priced 1-Day ticket and has the most blockout dates, while Tier 6 is the highest priced with no blockout dates. Tier 6 tickets are usually for weekends or holidays, which tend to be the most popular days to visit the parks. If you plan to visit 2 or more days, the Tier System does not apply.

Regardless of which day you purchased your ticket for, be sure to also make a theme park reservation since you will need both for entry.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Jimmy. If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to stop by planDisney again. We’re happy to help you plan an unforgettable trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Sending you pixie dust,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
