Welcome to planDisney, Ruth!
I hope you are ready to introduce your 3-year-old to a world full of Magic. Really, 3 is such a perfect age to visit. You will be amazed at how much they remember, even years later! My son still talks about visiting Walt Disney World Resort with his cousins when he was about to turn 3.
Pricing for theme park tickets is based on quite a few different things including the season, day of the week, number of days you are planning, and extras like the
Park Hopper option.
To price out your ticket, simply hop on over to the
Walt Disney World Resort website and hover over the option that says "Parks & Tickets." Under "Admissions" you will want to click on the option that says "
Theme Park Tickets." Once on the landing page, you will be able to select the number of days that you would like to visit as well as any extra options. After you select your options, a calendar will pull up that has pricing on it. When you click on the day that you are visiting, you can scroll down to the bottom and see the prices for those aged 10 and up on the left-hand side, and pricing for those aged 3 to 9 on the right-hand side.
Currently, a one-day theme park ticket on March 2nd of this year, without the Park Hopper option, will be $128.87. Please note that all prices are subject to change.
Ruth, once you have your theme park tickets in-hand, you will need to make your
Disney Park Pass system reservation. Reservations are required for theme park entry and do sell out, so I recommend that you do this as soon as possible. You can make sure that reservations are still available for your dates before you purchase your tickets by checking out the handy-dandy
Availability Calendar.
I hope that this helped, Ruth. Please come back here if we can answer any other questions about traveling with a 3-year-old.
See you real soon!
