I have tickets that WDW gave because of hurricane Ian cancellations affected our trip. Some of our group can’t go back but it won’t let me reassign the ticket in the app. How do I use those tickets for another person?

    Hi, Taelor! Welcome to planDisney.

I'm so sorry your visit to Walt Disney World Resort was impacted by the recent hurricane. That must have been scary and disappointing. I'm so glad to hear that you were given tickets as compensation, so let's see what we can do to make the most of them!

First, as long as the ticket hasn't been used yet, and the person you'd like to assign it to is linked to your Friends & Family list in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, then you should be able to reassign it. Open the app and click the three bars in the lower right corner. Then tap "Tickets and Passes" and find the ticket you want to reassign. You should be able to click the "Reassign Ticket" button and proceed through the prompts.

If you are unable to do this, I'd suggest calling the Existing Ticket line through guest services. They can help you reassign the ticket, move the dates to a more convenient time for your guest, or even begin processing a refund.

Taelor, I'm so glad that Ian didn't put a damper on your love of Disney. I think you deserve to have the most magical time on your next trip, so I'm sending you all the Pixie Dust I can. Please stop by planDisney anytime you need help.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
