I have tickets from 2012 that we used for a few days…no expiration date but we did not know how many days we’re left and if we could still use then. If you could let me know and get in touch somehow, I would appreciate.

Hi there Kristin, and welcome to planDisney!

Shiver me timbers! A valid Walt Disney World theme park ticket with remaining visits is more valuable than Captain Jack Sparrow's pirate gold. You're one lucky scalawag! Years ago, my family and I would purchase tickets with the no-expiration option, and use them for short, weekend trips. I still have a few days left on one of my tickets from pre-2013 when this upgrade was eliminated, and I'd be happy to share how I keep track of the number of remaining entitlements. Keep in mind if you did not purchase the no-expiration add-on, your tickets expired 14 days after their first use and are no longer valid. Fortunately, by following the steps below, you should be able to see exactly what type of ticket you purchased and if there are any theme park entries left.

First, make sure your ticket is linked to your My Disney Experience account. Then, in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, click on the three lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen to bring up the welcome menu. Next, select Tickets and Passes, and you should see a Magic Your Way Ticket with Park Hopper & No Expiration Options under your name. Just below that ticket description, you will see the number of days remaining. This only shows up when I view my tickets in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, and not on the browser version.

Kristin, if you don't find what you're looking for, you can send an e-mail to ticket.usage@disneyworld.com that includes as much information about your original purchase as possible, including photos of the front and back of the ticket. Years ago, before information regarding the remaining theme parks days was visible on the My Disney Experience Mobile App, I used this e-mail contact and received a response several business days later. You can also try calling Disney ticketing services at (407) 566-4985 to see if a Cast Member can help you.

I hope this is helpful, Kristin! The My Disney Experience Mobile App has really made it easier for me to keep track of my family's older tickets, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that the solution is just as simple for you. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and we'll see ya real soon!
