We have tickets for the D2 summit cheerleading after hours tonight that start at 9 o’clock, but we have a dining reservation at the 50s primetime diner at eight. Could we get in early?

Gimme a W-E-L-C-O-M-E! Welcome to planDisney, Pam, and thanks for this great question. Congratulations on being part of the D2 Summit Championship group. That's quite an accomplishment for your team! It sounds like you're in the middle of the Walt Disney World Resort magic, so let's look at how the celebration party typically works.

I chatted with a peppy Cast Member who said attendees can enter Disney's Hollywood Studios at 9:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, you will probably be asked to wait in a designated area until the Cast Members allow you to enter the park. There's a chance you could be admitted a bit before 9:00, but it's unlikely you'd make that 8:00 PM dining reservation.

My tip is to cancel your 50's Prime Time Café reservation as soon as possible to avoid the no-show fee. You can try to cancel using your mobile app or call (407) 939-3463 for assistance. If you're within the two-hour cancelation window, I recommend explaining your situation to the Cast Members on the dining line. Many after-hours events at the theme parks do allow early entry, so it's probably a common misconception for the D2 Summit event.

While that's not the news you were hoping to hear, I researched and found that select locations will be open for food and beverage purchases during the after-hours party. I'm wishing on a star you find some delectable treats you can flip for! One of my favorite quick meals is at Woody's Lunch Box in Toy Story Land. The Plant-based Totchos are delicious and filling!

Pam, here's hoping your visit is successful and full of memories. Please stop by planDisney anytime. We're always cheering you on!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
