I have tickets from a prior trip that were non expiring, we are now planning a trip in February and are thinking of getting annual passes. Can I use my available days towards the annual pass?

    Hi there, Patti,
Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. The days of non-expiring Walt Disney World Resort tickets bring back such nostalgic memories, and a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass makes me think of memories to come!

There are several factors to consider when upgrading a ticket. Typically, a ticket must be wholly unused to upgrade it. However, with a non-expiring ticket, it may be possible depending on the ticket type and when the ticket was previously used. I checked with a Ticket Guest Services Cast Member who recommended you call to speak with an Existing Tickets Guest Services Cast Member to determine your ticket’s upgrade eligibility.

Another option is to make the upgrade in person with a Cast Member at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs since there are some intricacies to upgrading your ticket. These Cast Members are experts with this sort of transaction. Plus, you can stop off and do a little shopping at World of Disney® and use your Annual Pass merchandise discount perk!

Speaking of perks, once you have your pass, be sure to link it to your My Disney Experience account so that special Annual Passholder perks will auto-magically appear when you are searching for special event tickets or Enchanting Extras, and of course, for your shopping trips.

Patti, I hope this information is helpful and you are on your way to another magical vacation. If you have other questions, please let us know.

    See ya real soon,
