Hey there, Ashleigh!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question! I'm sorry to hear that you won't be able to visit the Disneyland Resort before your tickets expire. Next year marks Disneyland Park's 70th Anniversary, so it's a big milestone year!
Let's go over a couple of options for you. As long as they are not tickets that require you to present ID verification (such as Military or location based
special offers), you may gift your tickets to another recipient for them to use before they expire.
Unfortunately, there is no way to extend the expiration date of Disneyland Resort
Theme Park Tickets. However, according to the
Terms and Conditions, the tickets will never lose their value. The cost of a wholly unused, expired ticket may be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. It's always nice to know that you have that option. For further clarification, I would recommend speaking to a Cast Member at the
Tickets phone line because they'll be able to explain your options based on your ticket type.
Incidentally, physical tickets can still be linked to your MyDisney account so that you can view them online. Just head over to the
Disneyland website and reveal the pull-down menu under "My Disneyland" and select the option to "Link Tickets and Passes." You'll need to enter the ticket ID number but it'll then be linked to your account.
Ashleigh, I hope this was helpful for you. I wish you the best as you decide what to do with your tickets. Please let us know if you have any more questions. You're always welcome at planDisney and we're happy to help. Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
