Welcome to planDisney, Christopher!
Finalizing plans, especially dining reservations, is a key part of any Disneyland Resort adventure. I know I always have my checklist handy, ready to jump on reservations as soon as they open. Let’s get your planning magic started!
I took a peek at the
Daily Events Schedule, which lists showtimes for the Disneyland Resort’s nighttime spectaculars, and it looks like parade, fireworks, and show schedules haven’t been released yet for any dates beyond Sunday, April 13th. That’s to be expected as details often roll out closer to the date. In the meantime, dining reservations (including Fantasmic! Dining Packages) typically become available 60 days in advance, so you should see availability for your trip pop up starting Thursday, March 6th.
I do want to flag one important detail:
Fantasmic! is currently scheduled to run Fridays through Sundays, with a special weekday run March 17-28. It’s possible this limited schedule could still apply during your visit, so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on the
Fantasmic! Dining Packages page to see if those magical seats along the Rivers of America will be available for your dates.
If Fantasmic! isn’t offered during your visit, I’ve got some out-of-this-world news for you! Your trip coincides with the return of Seasons of the Force at Disneyland Park. This galactic celebration brings exclusive snacks, limited-time entertainment, and must-have merchandise from a galaxy far, far away. And the Disney Parks Blog recently
revealed some stellar updates, including the debut of a brand-new nighttime projection show: Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga, starting March 28th. Imagine stunning projections lighting up the spires of Batuu near the Millennium Falcon, all choreographed to the legendary music of John Williams. It’s going to be a must-see for any Star Wars fan.
And the nighttime fun doesn’t stop there! Mickey’s Mix Magic will also be lighting up the skies during your visit. This high-energy celebration transforms Sleeping Beauty Castle, the façade of “it’s a small world”, and Main Street, U.S.A. into a dazzling, larger-than-life dance party. With vibrant projections, lasers, and lights,
Mickey’s Mix Magic is an absolute blast…and don’t be surprised if you find yourself singing along with fellow Disney fans to “Let It Go” as the projections bring the party to life!
I hope this helps you kick off your Disneyland plans, Christopher! If you’d like more advice on dining packages, entertainment, or even tips for maximizing your snack game, we’re always here for you at planDisney.
Wishing you a magical adventure!
