Hello Joanne!
Welcome to planDisney! If you are looking for Disneyland vacation planning advice, you've come to the right spot! How excited must you be to spend some time at the original park that Walt Disney himself created!
The Disneyland Resort always holds a special place in my heart as the place where I fell in love with Disney magic, so I hope it does the same for you!
Joanne, you are able to switch your
Disney Park Pass reservation to the other theme park under the proviso that the second park is available to book. You can check the
theme park reservation calendar prior to your arrival and see availability. If you have a Disney Park Pass reservation to
Disneyland but want to visit
Disney's California Adventure, you will need to cancel your Disneyland reservation first, and then book your California Adventure reservation. If someone in your party is ill and cannot make their visit, my suggestion is to cancel their theme park reservation and book for a future date. You may be charged a
ticket differential if the price is higher than your original date, but you will be able to utilize the ticket for a date later on.
I truly hope this helps you enjoy your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Be sure to visit us again if you should need more vacation planning advice.
