Hi Mandy,
I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be able to overlap with your friends and soak up some Disney magic and fun together! You'll share moments that you'll be able to relive and talk about for years to come!
First, while Guests have been able to enter
Magic Kingdom Park with only a
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket as early as 4:00 p.m., do know that those extra bonus hours are always subject to change. Assuming you'll be able to enter the park early, though, I do have some suggestions for you guys. We did the same thing last year with some of our friends; we were visiting Magic Kingdom Park that day and they were arriving early for the party. We enjoyed some attractions together and grabbed several
Disney PhotoPass photos with our whole crew before my family left for the evening. While none of the Halloween-themed party festivities will begin until 7:00 p.m., you'll still see touches of Halloween fun around the park. For example, does anything bring out the fall and Halloween spirit more than a delicious fall treat? While I'm sure there will be new and different options this year, this
Disney Parks Blog article from last fall can give you a good idea of what to expect. Mmm...SO yummy! You'll also find fun Halloween merchandise available in several shops along Main Street U.S.A. With all of the gorgeous fall decor, you can enjoy taking some fun photos with your friends, too. Of course, a ride together on
Haunted Mansion would be spooktacular!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mandy, and please come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a wonderful time with your friends and a truly magical vacation!
Missy
