Walt Disney World Halloween

    We have tickets for MK for aug 31st, I just read on a Disney group that some people are made to leave the park early for the Halloween party. Will we have to leave early on august 31st?

    Welcome to planDisney, Jasmine!  We are glad you brought your question to us.

    It is party season!  Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place on select nights from August 12 through October 31 from 7:00 pm to midnight.  On party nights, Magic Kingdom Park will close to day guests (those without party tickets) at 6:00 pm.  There is not a party taking place on August 31.  I just checked the park hours calendar, and Magic Kingdom Park is scheduled to be open that day from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, so you won't need to worry about leaving early.  Great news!  You'll be able to view Disney Enchantment fireworks at 9:00 pm, weather permitting.  I like to watch near the bridge to Tomorrowland so I can quickly head to Space Mountain when the show is over.

    Keep your eye out for ghoulish goodies during your visit.  While some are exclusive to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, others are available during regular park hours as well.
