Trevor,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
You are going to love the Halloween party. I am going this year, and I cannot wait!
While Disney indicates that you have to have a valid theme park reservation to dine at a restaurant in the parks, the reservation system does not check for that when allowing you to book that table. The messaging you see on the website is just to alert people to the fact that if you have a reservation at, say,
Liberty Tree Tavern, but don't have a park reservation or ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom, you are not going to be able to get into the park to get to your dinner. They are simply reminding guests that you have to get into certain parks to eat at their restaurants, unlike when you want to access a restaurant in a resort hotel, like going to
Chef Mickey's at
Disney's Contemporary Resort.
So as long as you have that ticket to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and your dining is scheduled after 4 pm, you are going to be just fine!
BONUS TIP #1Check out the Disney Parks Blog to find out more about all that is in store for you at the Halloween Party. They even have a post with some great
costume planning tips from the planDisney crew.
BONUS TIP #2Many Halloween Party guests love their costumes but forget that they are in Orlando at a time when it is warmer than the Fall temperatures they may enjoy back home. Choose a costume that gives you and your family some layers that can be removed if the heat and humidity rise more than expected.
