I have tickets for Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party for the first week in December. I read somewhere that we can enter the park around 4 o'clock for the party. Can we make reservations to eat at the Castle at 3:30 and be allowed in the park then?

Hey there, Jacquelyn! Thank you so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun event! There is all sorts of holiday entertainment, a fantastic Christmas parade, a spectacular fireworks display, and a few special surprises that I look forward to every year. The Magic Kingdom really is transformed with the holiday splendor.

The fun festivities begin at 7 PM on party nights. In years past, guests with party tickets have been able to enter the Magic Kingdom as early at 4 PM, however, this is up to the discretion of Walt Disney World at the time of the event. I think you are probably safe to make dining reservation as long as they are after the 4 o'clock time frame.

If you plan to be at the Magic Kingdom that day anyway, and are going to use a regular day admission ticket, then absolutely snag that 3:30 at Cinderella's Royal Table. It will be a nice break and a nice transition between your day time adventures and the holiday happenings.

    Have a wonderful time!
