I have tickets to Mickeys Christmas party. Can I purchase lightening lane passes for the time we are allowed to enter the park early? Can I purchase lightening lane passes from 4pm -6pm?

    Happy Holidays, Tiffany!

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney, and thrilled you stopped by with your question. What a fantastic time you've chosen to visit Walt Disney World. There's truly nothing like seeing the parks all dressed up for the holiday season. And with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on your itinerary, you're set for an unforgettable night of holly jolly festive fun! Glowing holiday lights, magical "snow" drifting through the air on Main Street, U.S.A., and warm cups of cocoa paired with complimentary cookies add an extra touch of cheer. Your evening will be merry as can be!

Using Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great strategy during busier park days, since it helps you spend more time enjoying attractions and less time in line. But there's one important detail to know: it can only be purchased when you have a regular daytime theme park ticket. Even though your special event ticket allows you to enter Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM, it doesn't qualify as a daytime admission for Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchases.

Now for the good news, this won't hold you back at all! During Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, wait times for many attractions tend to drop significantly, giving you the chance to hop on some of your favorites with minimal lines.

Here's what I would recommend: arrive right at 4:00 PM and enjoy a few key attractions before the party officially begins. Once the clock strikes 7:00 PM, shift your focus to the holiday fun. This event is packed with festive experiences you won't find during regular park hours – exclusive character meet-and-greets, holiday-themed ride overlays, and of course, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! It's a great way to experience some of your favorite attractions paired with a dose of Christmas cheer!

One more helpful suggestion for you: be sure to have the My Disney Experience app downloaded to your mobile device. Once you're in the app, search for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Event Guide. It's your go-to spot for all the details you'll need. You'll find everything from entertainment schedules to Disney PhotoPass locations, and plenty of other surprises waiting for you.

Tiffany, I hope this sprinkles a little extra holiday magic on your plans and that you enjoy the merriest night ever! If anything else comes up, just jingle on back to planDisney...we're always here to help spread the cheer!

    Merry Wishes,

    Kami
