Season's greetings, Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've dropped by with a holly-jolly
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! It sounds like you'll be heading to The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most magical time of the year. There's no better time to experience the wintertime wonder of the Walt Disney World Resort!
Jessica, it sounds like you've purchased admission to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, but not regular theme park tickets, for the date you've mentioned. (This special event is my favorite after-hours offering at the Walt Disney World Resort - you're in for a real treat!) Though the party officially starts at 7:00 p.m., Guests with special event admission can begin entering Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 p.m. on their ticketed date! Unfortunately, that means you won't be permitted into the theme park as early as 12:30 p.m., even for a dining reservation at
Be Our Guest Restaurant. However, I'm happy to share that, at the time of writing, I still see availability for
dinner reservations after 4:00 p.m. on the date of your visit! If this experience is important to you, I encourage you to snag a dining reservation after 4:00 p.m. on that date.
Whenever and wherever you choose to dine, don't miss
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Jessica. (It looks like this dazzling parade will be offered at 8:30 p.m. and again at 11:00 p.m. on the date of your visit!) My favorite place to view this special entertainment offering is right along Main Street, U.S.A. so that I can peek at a festive Cinderella Castle in the background. Be sure to snag a spot ahead of the actual showtime so that you can interact with the pre-parade entertainment!
Jessica, I ho-ho-hope this information helps you to prepare for a magically wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have any more questions before your enchanting escape, please feel free to revisit us here at
planDisney again anytime! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Warm wishes,
Lauren
