Seasons greetings, Bregen, and welcome to planDisney!
I’m sorry to hear you missed out on snagging tickets to
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for your trip. It is one of the most popular Walt Disney World Resort annual events, so I’m not surprised the tickets sold out so quickly. Occasionally, Guests have been able to buy a ticket to the party on the day of by going to Guest Relations and asking if any became available, but it is not a guarantee. Still, it doesn’t hurt to ask.
If you are ultimately unsuccessful in your pursuit of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets, don’t despair. There is
plenty of holiday magic to be found around the other theme parks, Disney Resorts Collection hotels, and Disney Springs. If you have a ticket with the
Park Hopper Option, you could Park Hop over to EPCOT to experience the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays or the
Candlelight Processional. If you don’t have the Park Hopper Option on your ticket, you could head over to Disney Springs to find all of the Christmas trees in the
Christmas Tree Stroll, or you could stop by
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see the life-sized
gingerbread house there.
I’m crossing my fingers and sending an extra bit of pixie dust your way, Bregen. I hope you get that magical party ticket after all. Have a wonderful trip, and we’ll see ya real soon!
Merry planning,
Alyssa
