Hi I have tickets to a Magic Kingdom special Event that states I can get into the Park at 7pm. I also have reservations for Be OUr guest at 5pm. Will they allow me to enter the park for these dinner reservations without purchasing an additional ticket.

    Hi Denise,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! We're so glad you joined us.

I absolutely love special events at the Walt Disney World Resort! The limited attendance, the special treats...it makes for such a wonderful atmosphere and great memories.

The information that you have provided to us leads me to believe that you are attending one of the Disney After Hours events.  These amazing events give you limited admission, which means there are fewer people in the park and more opportunities to experience your favorite attractions, participate in exclusive meet and greets with characters, and enjoy unlimited snacks like ice cream, popcorn and beverages during your event.

These events actually start at 10 pm; the 7 pm admission to the park is three hours prior to the start of the Disney After Hours event.  If your Advance Dining Reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant is at 5 pm, you will need additional park admission to take advantage of your reservation at that time.  I would recommend trying to move your reservation. I've found that persistence is the key to making this happen, as people often cancel their reservations the day or two prior to arrival.

Denise, I hope you have a fabulous time at your Disney After Hours party! Please come back and visit us again with any vacation planning questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
