Bright Suns to you, Ty!
Welcome to planDisney and we appreciate you stopping by with your question! How exciting that you and your daughter have plans to visit during
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite! And what a great choice for her cosplay character! I've always loved seeing Rey as a strong female role model and I certainly hope that her story isn't finished yet.
As you'll see on that evening, there are plenty of other Guests who take this opportunity to dress up as their favorite Star Wars characters. I've been personally amazed at some of the costumes I've seen. As for accessories and weapons, the
Costume Guidelines state that costumes "may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon." I realize that there may be some ambiguity within that statement. If your daughter's blaster is obviously a toy, it should be fine as per the guidelines. However, it will ultimately be at the discretion of the security Cast Member what is allowed through the checkpoint. I will say that it'll be much more popular to bring in a lightsaber and there are a couple of lightsaber centric events planned for the evening that your daughter might love to participate in!
Have you had a chance to take a look at this
Disney Parks Blog article detailing what's going to be available during the event? I don't know about you, but that Pineapple and Ube Crescent Sundae is seriously calling to me!
Ty, I hope that you and your daughter have a truly magical time at Star Wars Nite! Take lots of pictures and make the night an unforgettable one for the both of you. And please return again if you have more questions for us. You're always welcome at planDisney.
May The Spires Keep You,
